Ballito business park phase 1 has now been fully developed with phase two having only a few sites remaining to be developed. The occupancy on all the existing buildings is currently 99% let. The occupants of these two phases is predominantly building related in so far as hardware ,décor, furniture, paint showrooms, building contractor offices, tile showrooms, bathroom showrooms, outdoor camping shops, purified water shops, Plumbing suppliers, ornamental moulding shops, Glass and Aluminium supply, Irrigation suppliers, Car showrooms and the like.
Phase 3 has now been fully sold out with re-sales coming available from time to time. Construction in this phase has been hampered with inadequate road structure but has now been rectified and construction of BMW, CTM, Ital Tile, Tile Africa and Ford and Mazda will Commence early in the new year.
“Imbonini” Industrial park in Chaka’s Head has now been completely sold out with the odd resale making its appearance. This development will have the likes of Panel beaters, Warehousing, Distribution outlets, Granite Cutters, Kitchen manufacture, and offices. The services are well underway with completion expected by April 2008. The developers are busy with DFA on phase two and hope to release these sites to the market in early 2008 already having tremendous interest from some large distribution companies.
“Bogmore” services Park Adjoining the N2, just before the Chaka’s Rock turn-off is also well underway with a complete sell out. Some re-sales are available at this time. These are large platforms suitable for warehousing and distribution.
“Umhlali Activity Park” situated to the south of Bogmore at the Ballito off-ramp consists of twelve sites also very exposed to the N2. These platforms will be cut in the early new year and only two site currently remain for sale.
Two other industrial Parks as well as the 4th phase in the Ballito Business park are soon to be released to the market in the Ballito area in the new year. Please stay in touch with us to be kept in the loop.
International Airport
All the commercial and Industrial activity on the North Coast is due to the relocation of our International Airport to be known as King Shaka International in La Mercy. Construction has begun , see photo below taken 25 Nov 2007.
